Board members are available during regular meetings of the Garrett Park Swimming Pool Association, during pool social events, and frequently throughout the pool season. Please share your comments, concerns, and suggestions!
We are always looking for interested civic-minded members of our pool to help guide the direction of the GPSPA. Please feel free at any time to contact a board member for information about how to get involved. Pool board meetings are held about once a month during the year and members are always welcome. Meeting dates will be posted here and on the website calendar.
News from the Board is posted here. The GPSPA Board can be reached at Board@garrettparkpool.org.

Donna Callejon
2022-
DONNA Callejon lives in Garrett Park and loves the outdoors.

Valerie Craig
2021-
VALERIE joined the pool when she moved to White Flint Park with her husband, Marco, and two sons, Giulio and Kiran, in 2017. The pool was a big part of the decision to move to the neighborhood! Valerie loves to hike, walk with the family dogs (Cheddar and Gouda), and spend time with family and friends. And one of her favorite things to do is lay by the Garrett Park pool in the summer in full sun with a good book.

Chris Keller
2020
CHRIS Keller - We live in GP and enjoy the pool. I also enjoy numbers, landscaping and walking my dog.

Michael Tribble
2022-2024
MICHAEL Tribble
A former neighbor convinced Michael that he must join the pool BEFORE his family decided to move to Garrett Park Estates in 2016. Since then, friends and the incredible pool community have made hot summer days in Maryland an absolute treat. When not at the pool, you’ll find the family—wife, Sarah, kids (and proud Ladybugs) Gavin and Eliza—walking their new dog, Loki, through the neighborhood. Currently, Michael works at National Geographic.

Barbara Jackson
2017-2019
BARBARA Jackson has been a pool member since 1959, a swim team member, a gate attendant and served as co-Treasurer and in charge of hiring for a previous GPSPA Board in the early 1990’s. Recently Barbara worked with the Board to help settle the dispute over the noise of adult parties. Barbara is a graduate of Georgetown University with an MBA in Finance from George Washington and previously worked for a number of defense contractors before, “retiring” to volunteer work and to rear three sons and daughter with her husband, Bill Rienstra.

Krista Merker Reilly
2012-2022
KRISTA Merker Reilly & her husband Patrick live in GP Estates and have been members of GP pool since 2004. We have 3 children who were Ladybugs and work at the pool. Membership and website are my focus for the board. I enjoy relaxing at the pool and a glass of wine. I work downtown for the Personal Care Products Council – a non-profit.

K-Lee Bowman
K-Lee became a pool member in 2021 and joined the board in 2022. She loves spending time at the pool on summer evenings and weekends and bringing guests along. K-Lee enjoys collecting houseplants, reading, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants. She lives in Silver Spring with her husband Jesse and very opinionated dog Queso.

Jean Horan
2012-2022
JEAN Horan was appointed to fill an open Board position in May 2012. She was initially the secretary, and now has been the president for the last 3 years. She is interested in returning to continue the task of automating communication to our members, working with the pool managers, and representing the interests of the swim community. Her daughter, Gianna, is a Ladybug, so she understands the interaction that the Board should have with the swim team leadership. She also serves on the Women’s Club board.

Bridget Giblin
2020-
Bridget Giblin
Bernie Dennis
The Dennis family has long been involved in the Garrett Park Swimming Pool community. Bernie’s father watched the Pool being built and learned to swim here. Bernie learned to swim here as well, visiting his grandmother on Aurora Drive in the summer. Bernie and his wife Megan now live on Aurora Drive and are excited to be members of the Pool community themselves. Bernie joined the Board to help it grow as a place for his three children, James, Norah, and Molly, to play and learn how to swim.
