Pool-A-Palooza!
Yes, it’s Labor Day weekend … and of course we’ve noticed that Pumpkin-Spiced-Everything is already available, which makes us sad—but not as sad as knowing that this is the last weekend to enjoy the pool. But, really. Did you think we were going to let the summer end quietly? Of course not.
What we have planned
Sunday, Enjoy (FREE) Drinks on the Hill
Sunday Your GPSPA board members will provide beer (including a selection from BabyCat Brewery), seltzers, plus non-alcoholic options from 3-6 p.m. on The Hill. Please join us to toast the end of another great season.
… and Round 2 of Inner Tube Water Polo
Sunday Two games: 4:30 Teens/5:30 Adults (Lap Pool closed 4-7 p.m.)

Monday, Play Some Volleyball
Monday Volleyball Tournament (2-5 p.m.) This Labor Day, enjoy the 2023 Garrett Park Sand Volleyball Tournament. Players can form their own team (4×4), or organizers will help fill teams with players not already on a team on the day of the game. Coed teams are encouraged but optional. No more than one varsity team player and no more than one pool guest per team. And remember to have fun and play safe.
Format: win 2 out of 3 games of 21 or 15 points (depending on number of teams)
Award: Bragging rights and team picture on the pool board until next year

Monday (7-8 p.m.) On Labor Day, we’ll turn the pool over to our best friends to enjoy the season’s final dip in the pool. Bring your pup and enjoy the waning moments of summer.
